SEO in 2026 is a system
Adding keywords to a finished website is not enough. Sustainable visibility depends on technical accessibility, page architecture, useful content, brand trust and continuous measurement.
1. Fix crawl and indexability
Audit sitemap, robots directives, canonicals, redirects, status codes, duplicates and noindex rules. Every piece of content should have one clear canonical URL and legacy variants should redirect correctly.
Technical checklist
- HTTPS and one domain version
- Short meaningful URLs
- Clean XML sitemap
- Correct canonicals and redirects
- Strong mobile performance
- Optimized media
- Structured data and breadcrumbs
2. Build a search-intent map
Cluster queries by the actual task behind them and map each cluster to the right page type: service page, category, case study, FAQ or article. This reduces cannibalization and turns content planning into an architecture rather than a list of topics.
3. Make commercial pages genuinely useful
A service page should explain the process, deliverables, timing, outcomes, differences, risks and the next action. Real case studies and transparent business information strengthen trust.
4. Use the blog as a topic system
Articles should support service clusters and connect to them through internal links. A smaller set of deep, complementary resources is easier to maintain than dozens of thin posts.
5. Local SEO
For businesses serving Baku and Azerbaijan, company name, address, phone and service categories should be consistent across the web. Contact information and organization structured data should be clear on the site.
6. Measure business impact
Do not stop at rankings. Search Console impressions, clicks, CTR, queries and landing pages should be connected with GA4 enquiries, calls, WhatsApp clicks and other conversions from organic traffic.
A practical 90-day plan
Days 1–30: technical audit, analytics, Search Console and intent mapping. Days 31–60: rebuild priority service pages, internal links, structured data and local signals. Days 61–90: use performance data to improve CTR, content and landing pages, then expand topic clusters and high-quality mentions.
